Salmon Poet is a poetic journey, an ode to Nature through the voice of the poet Walt Curtis and the vision of filmmaker Sabrina Guitart. This artistic and ecological film evokes the spiritual journey of the salmon through the Oregon landscape. 

Nature, shamanism, and the return of the salmon to reproduce and regenerate the ecosystem are the themes of the film. 

Salmon Poet honors Mother Earth, but also the Voice of the Poet, who speaks  a message of ecological alarm and offers his poetic meditations on the Earth itself.
